“My #1 tip for opening up more during your practice is to be still right where you are. Sometimes we ask, “why can’t I open more, why can’t I go more deeply?”  Breathe in mindfully, as mindfulness involves acceptance, meaning that you will pay attention to your thoughts and feelings without judgment or self-admonishment.  Sending more breath to the heart chakra, as you focus there, will replenish the heart with self-love and more  breath. This opens the heart and eases the mind. By focusing attention to the heart and less attention (if possible) to the desire to go deeper, you will immediately go deeper and more fully into each successive practice.”
