"Since hanging out with the "experimental theatre crowd" while attending graduate school at Cornell, to moving on to the "slam poetry community" and then to writing plays, comedy sketches, one-woman shows, then staging, writing and directing variety shows and roasts...one thing remains constant - I LOVE to move a crowd, to hear the roaring laughter or palpable silence...and it's a blessing whenever I am able to "break down the third wall" - either in small, intimate theatres, to huge halls, or around a campfire in a remote village in Mozambique in Africa...These experiences are indelibly a part of me and I feel so much gratitude whenever I hit the stage...Michelle Courtney Berry
